Membership in the Chattanooga Amateur Radio Club is open to those with an interest in promoting & operating amateur radio in accordance with all Federal, state, and local laws & regulations. The membership year begins on January 1. Memberships not paid by the end of March each year are delinquent and subject to termination.
The same form is used for new membership requests as well as renewal requests. You must sign and return the two-page form and make the appropriate payment. You may mail the completed & signed form along with your check, or you may bring it to a club meeting and present it to our club treasurer, Earl Griffith. If desired, you may pay with a credit or debit card during a meeting; however, there will be up to a $2.00 charge added to defray the cost of credit card processing. Payments by checks are not subject to this processing fee.
As a service to those desiring membership in the ARRL, you may request new ARRL membership along with your application to the CARC. ARRL Renewals are handled directly between the ARRL and the ARRL member. As an ARRL-sanctioned club, the CARC strongly encourages membership and support of the ARRL as they are our national voice on topics & issues that affect amateur radio in the United States.

Please note that the CARC is a private, non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization, new memberships or renewal memberships are not automatically approved but must be reviewed & approved by the club. Membership applications for new membership or renewals shall be signed or considered null & void.
