Not many of us enjoy areas of road construction, though it is a fact of modern life. Currently, there is a large highway improvement project underway about 1 mile from the Hamfest Chattanooga venue. The primary area is between “The Split” (I-75 & I-24 interchange) and the “Ridge Cut” (the big curve and dropoff into the downtown Chattanooga area).
To a lesser degree, Ringgold Road near the Hamfest venue (Signal #8) also has road work underway.
All in all, there may be delays to and from our event. Please consult on-line travel apps like Waze, Google, and others to be aware of changing traffic situations.
